Hamara Community Awards

Sponsors of the Award, Lahore Cafe's Alam Zeb with Anna & the Award

Last night the Hamara Community Awards were held at Aagrah Midpoint. Around 300 people turned out in their finest  to celebrate the achievements of Hamara it’s users, partners and projects.

The highlight for us was The Women’s Achievement Award, sponsored by Lahore’s Cafe, Leeds which was lifted by Anna Rayner from Ray of Light who started test trading from Milun in 2008.

Anna has worked hard to promote her business and the Milun Centre and is now, with 2 other colleagues, developing a Social Enterprise based in Seacroft to enable residents from a deprived community to access affordable therapies to help with managing illness or stress. We wish her continued success and Milun Centre is proud to be a companion on her journey.
